How to lock notes

Lock and unlock notes
Using the 'Lock' option you may lock your notes so nobody except you is able to access, edit and deleted them.

 Notes:
 For password notes the 'Lock' option is combined with the 'Title only' option.
Password notes are always password-protected (they can't be created under the 'Guest' account).
 Guest notes have a low security level and may be unlocked without the password.
 If you have a normal or high security level, you will need to enter the password to unlock all notes except the notes created by the Guest account.

How to lock a note:
Click on the lock icon
for a low security level
Lock notes

for normal and high security levels
Lock notes

or
right-click on the note and select Settings -> Lock note

How to unlock a note:
For a low security level, click on the lock icon or select Unlock.
For a normal and high security levels click on the lock icon or select Unlock in the context menu.

Notes 'Auto lock'
Even if you forget to lock notes, the program will protect your information and lock notes automatically after unused for some time.
If you want to lock notes automatically:
• Double-click on the Secure Reminder desktop icon and select Properties ->Default settings
• Select the Auto lock and set the time.

Default settings

Setting the 'Auto Lock' option affects new notes and existing notes that were activated after setting the 'Auto Lock' option.
