Using Secure Reminder you can set alarm for each note to be reminded about daily tasks or special dates and events such as birthdays, anniversaries and business meetings at the appointed time. Secure Reminder also keeps you informed of the events you missed when the computer was turned off. Because of recurring alarm reminders can be set to occur as often as you want.

Task and event scheduler
|
If you are doing some job on a regular basis (updating specific data, weekly or monthly reports, etc.), you can set up the alarm action (running programs, opening web pages or other document at a specified time; popup note notification) to occur periodically. So it can replace any reminder service

Store and manage information in a safe manner
|
Secure Reminder maintains three security levels (high, normal, low). Varied access for different users(accounts) allows you to protect reminder notes from unauthorized access. If you are using normal or high program security level, access to reminder notes and Administrative tools is protected with password.
All information is encrypted using 256-bit key AES encryption.

Individual appearance for each reminder note
|
The appearance of notes and reminders is highly customizable. You can:
change size using zoom commands or manually;
vary the degree of note transparency from 0% to 100%;
change title appearance (background color, font, font size, font color);
customize note's body (background color, font, font size, font color);
create notes and reminders with different priority levels (high, normal, low).

Send reminder notes over LAN/Internet or via e-mail
|
Using Secure Reminder you can create reminder notes and send them to your friends and colleagues over LAN or the Internet. You can set up alarm (including recurring alarm) for each note you send to your friends or co-workers to remind them about daily tasks or special dates and events using different alarm actions.
Using Secure Reminder you can also send notes via e-mail. Recipient will receive your note in the form of letter with note's body inserted into the e-mail body and title as subject.

Attach files/urls to reminder notes

Enables quick and easy access to attachments. Allows you to open web pages and files and run programs that are related(attached) to sticky notes just by double-clicking on them.

Associate (stick) reminders with files, programs and windows
|
Using this feature you can associate notes with any files/programs/windows you want.The note appears on the desktop any time you open the file/program or window the note is stuck to; if you close the file/window/program, the note disappears. The note is hidden if the program, file or windows it is stuck to is closed. That way important ideas or thoughts will never be lost.

Reminder to speech option

Using 'Reminder to speech' option you can easily listen to your notes and reminders instead of reading.
To listen to your note or reminder's information, you should click on 'Speaker' icon

Search feature
|
Using "search" feature you can quickly find desktop reminders with necessary information. To find the certain note/ reminder just enter the search string, specify where you want to search and click the Search button.

Organize notes in groups
|
"Notes Groups" feature helps you organize reminder notes on the computer desktop into categories according to their nature: to-do lists, addresses, accounts, passwords, etc. This feature prevents cluttering of notes on the desktop and allows quickly and easily access any group of notes.

Expiration feature
|
Reminders can be set up to expire at the certain time. Expiration feature deletes reminders from the desktop and places them to the Recycle Bin (if it is on).

Address Book
|
Address Book helps you store and organize information about your contacts. It can store all the personal details you could want from names, addresses, phone numbers to birthdays and nicknames. You can easily add names, update contact information, and create groups in your Address Book. Using Export/Import Address Book features you can move your information between different program versions or other applications.

Efficiently organize notes on the desktop
|
Sticky notes and reminders will not clutter your desktop and disturb your work as you can create notes and reminders with different priorities, hide notes or place them on the desktop, show only note's title and use transparency effect - that allows organize your desktop the way you want it.

Password generator
|
Built-in random password generator allows you to generate secure passwords based on your preferences. You can specify the password length, the use of letters (upper/lower case) and digits.

Automatically backup notes
|
If "Backup Notes on exit" option is on, automatic notes database backup is made any time you exit the program or shut down/restart your PC. This protects your notes from system failures and lets your revert to an older version of your notes database when necessary.

Using export/import feature you can easily export/import notes database from one version to another or between different MoRUN.net products.

Format note's text using paragraph settings
|
• Paragraph Line Spacing
Line spacing determines the amount of vertical space between lines of text in a paragraph. By default, lines are single-spaced. Using "Line spacing" option you can set 1.5 lines, double or multiple line spacing.
• Paragraph alignment
Horizontal alignment determines the appearance and orientation of the paragraph edges: left-aligned, right-aligned, centered.
• Bulleted and Numbered Lists
Working with note's text you can create bulleted and numbered lists. You can quickly add bullets or numbers to existing lines of text, or the program can automatically create lists as you type.

Store independent databases for each PC user (PC account)
|
From Secure Reminder 8.0 you can create and use independent notes, reminders and address book databases for each user (account) of your PC that allows overcoming the problem of varied access to the program, notes, reminders and address book for different users and ensures safe operation in a multi-user environment. It is useful e.g. if you are the only user on your PC or if there are several users on your PC and each of them wants to have a separate database that can't be accessed by other PC users.
In case you want to have one common notes database and Address book for all users on your PC, remove the checkmark from "Store independent databases for each PC user" option in Administrative tools and your current notes database and Address book will be copied to C:\Program Files\MoRUN.net\Secure Reminder directory. This directory can be accessed by any user on your PC. It can be useful e.g if there are several users on your PC but they all need to use the same notes, reminders and address book.

If this option is on, reminder notes will be automatically locked after the set period of time.

Recycle Bin to restore notes
|
If Use Recycle Bin option is on, all deleted notes are placed to the Recycle Bin and can be restored any time you want.
